4th Annual Tour de Barnstable: A Grand Barnstable Cycling Tour: Sunday, June 10th at Aselton Park in Hyannis

Hyannis, MA – Pedal for good at the Tour de Barnstable on Sunday, June 10th. This cycling event is a partnership of the Barnstable Land Trust, Calmer Choice, and Sea Sports Cyclery & Outdoor. The scenic 38-mile course through all 7 villages in the Town of Barnstable also features 2 youth rides, making it a great event for the whole family. Proceeds benefit Barnstable Land Trust and Calmer Choice. 

The Tour de Barnstable starts at 8:00 AM at Aselton Park (South Street & Ocean Avenue) in Hyannis and navigates through Barnstable Village, West Barnstable, Marstons Mills, Cotuit, Osterville and Centerville, returning at Aselton Park. A post-event party will be held at the Cape Cod Maritime Museum.

Registration fees are $75; $85 on the weekend of the event. Participants can also help raise funds for BLT or Calmer Choice by joining a team or helping fundraise. See details on these organizations below.

Barnstable Land Trust (BLT) is the only private nonprofit organization dedicated solely to preserving the open spaces and natural resources within the Town of Barnstable on Cape Cod. BLT is supported by generous contributions from the community and from our members. BLT is currently the steward of 1,099 acres of land in Barnstable’s seven villages.

Calmer Choice is a universal prevention program committed to teaching young people how to effectively and safely manage stress and resolve conflict so that they live happy, healthy and successful lives. Our goal is to provide skills that will diminish the risk of violence, substance abuse, and other self-destructive behaviors.
