Al Rosenberg is the October Gallery Art Exhibit Guest!

“Symmetry patterns and the Golden Ratio”  by Al Rosenberg is the October gallery art exhibit at the Cape Cod Community Media Center, 17 Shad Hole Road, Dennis Port MA.  A reception will be held there on Monday October 6th at 5 to 7 PM.

Al Rosenberg is a retired biophysics professor interested in order, forms, and patterns in nature and computer wave simulations.  He has an A.B. in Biology from Harvard, an M.S. in Physics from University of Florida, and a Ph.D. in General Physiology from the University of Pennsylvania.  He was awarded predoctoral fellowships from the Atomic Energy Commission and the National Institutes of Health.  He taught on the faculty at Swarthmore College for twenty-five years.
He served as President of the New England Section of the American Association of Physics Teachers and presented his colored symmetry images of wave patterns and his electron microscope photos of developing sunflower heads at scientific meetings.
 Al Rosenberg is a member of the Provincetown Art Association and Museum where he has given workshops on symmetry and had his work chosen for two juried shows.
For fifteen years he produced and co-hosted the TV talk program,“Cape Environmental Connections”, at C3TV (now channel 99) .  His recent Youtube video “Building Tribal Earth Lodge” documents the summer work camp he directed on the Fort Berthold Reservation in North Dakota.
