CAPTURED: Yarmouth Police Arrest Convicted Felon

Yarmouth Police have successfully captured a wanted felon. On Friday, November 10, Yarmouth Police Proactive Anti-Crime Unit Officer Nick Ambrosini and detectives from the Barnstable Police Department captured Rashad A. Copper at a residence at 62 Baxter Road in Hyannis.

Copper was facing felony drug distribution charges and had initially been arrested during a raid in mid-October. Yarmouth Police issued a warrant for his arrest after he failed to show up in court.

Copper was booked at Barnstable Police Department and Yarmouth Police Department Headquarters and transported directly to the Barnstable District Court.

The Yarmouth Police Department commends and thanks all of the Police Officers involved from both Police Departments and the support of the public in helping to bring this person in to custody.
