Volunteers From our Board of Directors to our wonderfully creative members/producers, the Media Center is truly an organization that is run by the people, for the people. Our members and volunteers share in the work of ensuring that the Media Center is successful in fulfilling its mission. On average , Media Center volunteers contributed 1,300 hours for a total value of $20,000. (Figures based on Retired and Senior Volunteer Program calculations for volunteers at $14.60/hr.) Volunteer opportunities at the Media Center include serving on the Board of Directors and its various committees, volunteer production crew and various receptionist shifts.
