Missing Mashpee Man Found Dead in Plymouth: Death Ruled a Homicide

District Attorney Michael O’Keefe and Mashpee Police Chief Scott Carline announced today that as a result of a joint investigation with Mashpee Police and Massachusetts State Police Detectives assigned to the Cape & Islands District Attorney’s Office aided by law enforcement agencies in Plymouth County, a body was recovered in an area of Plymouth near the town of Carver, Massachusetts.  The body has been identified as Raymond Perry (DOB 6-6-53) of 37 Riverside Road, Mashpee.

The cause of death has been determined by the Chief Medical Examiner’s Office to be blunt force trauma to the head in combination with cutting wounds to the neck.  The manner of death is homicide.  The investigation continues by Mashpee Police and Massachusetts State Police Detectives assigned to the Cape & Islands District Attorney’s Office.
