Terry Duenas,ED, announced the recent addition of Paula J. Hersey to Cape Cod Community Media Center’s staff. Ms. Hersey will perform the functions of Director of Outreach & Special Projects.
“Paula’s diverse technical background plus her twenty-five years of community networking on Cape Cod make her the perfect complement to the Media Center’s talented crew,” according to Mr. Duenas “We are exceptionally fortunate to have her.”

Before joining the Media Center, Paula was Chief Penguin and hatched Penguin Digital Design, served as Executive Producer for, Director of Operations for TTLC; and a former VP of Creative and Integrative Services at CommuniCom. Paula has eighteen years of progressive experience in graphic web design, database development, web site production, and project management. She also has many years of experience training non-technical persons in interfacing with technology.

“It’s my dream job”– said Ms. Hersey-“introducing the community to this world class facility. Helping Cape Cod’s organizations and businesses utilize Public Access TV to communicate their value to this community is a vital role I look forward to building. Cape Cod Community Media Center is one of Cape Cod’s hidden gems, ” she added.

In addition to her new position at CCCMC, Paula also serves as President and long time member of the Cape Cod Technology Council, is a member of the Workforce Investment Board, a member of the Cape Cod Makers Board, a member and past President of ABWA and an alumna and past board member of the Community Leadership Institute.

Paula is a semi-professional photographer, and is interested in all things natural.

Ms. Hersey lives in Marstons Mills with her husband David, and their three dogs: Jettie, Nantucket and Wellfleet.
