Smartphone Photos of Architecture

I just got back from a really great weekend in DC. For those of you who have been, I think you are going to appreciate what I am talking about. For those of you who have never been, it is a must on your bucket list.
The photos that you can take on your phone are amazing, beautiful, and postcard ready! All of the historic landmarks, the different neighborhoods, and all of the street art is there, ready for you to capture what you see.
I am lucky; I have been there many times. The first time was truly, standing in front of each monument, building, or statue and taking a photo head on with my iPhone. As I have gone back I have night photos, shaded photos, cropped photos and my idea of abstract photos.
This weekend I was with an architecture student who really looked at each part of the city through a different eye. More of a structural interpitation rather then the portrait impression. I tried it and I liked what I was taking.
When I got home this blog was siting in my in box: http://iphonephotographyschool.com/architecture-design-elements/?usrc=email
Read it; try it, and most of all SHARE IT with all of us!
