WANTED: Yarmouth Police Seek Rashad A. Copper

Yarmouth police are looking for a man with a long history of violent crime who failed to show up for a court date after being arrested for cocaine distribution in Hyannis last week.

Rashad A. Copper was arrested during a drug bust in Hyannis on Thursday, October 12. Copper was charged with distribution of cocaine, and released after posting $2,000 bail.

He failed to show up in court for his arraignment, and is now wanted by the Yarmouth Police.

Copper is a convicted felon with a long and violent record including drug distribution and other violent crimes in Massachusetts. His record includes a murder in Pennsylvania.

 

Police say Copper should be considered dangerous. He is known to use a number of false names including Rashid A. Copper, Rashad Thomas, Reshaw Brown, Rashon Cooper, and Rashad Amad Cooper.

He is 34 years old, 5 feet 10 inches tall, and 145 pounds. He has a tattoo on his right forearm.
